Stay Connected to Jesus

jesusStay connected to Jesus!” These words are heard frequently by the students of St. Paul’s as they view the Kid’s Connection episodes produced by our WELS Synod. The encouragement from that is to be sure we have our faith hooked in God’s Word. The Bible reminds all of us that we need to nourish our faith; it needs to be fed the nurtiients of God’s Word. A faith that is otherwise not recharged will eventually drain, similar to your cell phone or other device. We have another great opportunity to stay connected to Jesus and recharge our faith as we go approach the season of Lent, which will lead us to the cross at Mt. Calvary and the empty tomb at Easter. What a great joy to give our faith the added boost through the mid Week Lenten worship services.

Remember, “Stay connected to Jesus!”
