We have had a sudden change in our food service program at St. Paul’s. With the planning of many people including the Board of Education and our current kitchen staff, we have a plan that should not cause any interruption to the food and lunches that are provided to the students. We have a menu that is planned up until next week, March 13th. When we return from Spring Break, the JBOE has adopted a plan to have our lunch meals provided for us from Jefferson School District. Therefore, we will be following the menu choices from Jefferson Schools. The challenge the school faces, is that we need to plan one day ahead. The meal that is delivered to us will be served the following day since we will be added at the end of their delivery routes. Items will come to us still needing to be heated before they are served. Items will arrive at our doors and stored in the appropriate place and safe temperatures. Final meal preparations will then be made in our kitchen the day they are served. Please be assured that these meals are appropriate meals for your child. The services provided to us from Jefferson Schools will not affect any of our meal prices or the families that are free or reduced.
